Morning Sweets… Cinnamon Rolls with Walnuts

Cinnamon Rolls with Walnuts
You can make this recipe in no time. Very easy and all so yummy.

By Orgnat Life

This yummy recipe is so simple a beginner could achieve 5 STARS first time. Wait there’s is an “IF”.. That is, if you have a bread maker. Most of the models make dough.

I always encourage everyone to get a bread maker. If you are going to make bread and rolls regularly, let the bread maker do the hard work for you.

Bread Maker

You can purchase Bridgford Frozen dough at the store, but that defeats the purpose of making your own… NO PRESERVEATIVES… So which ever you choose to fit your life style.

This recipe makes 1.5 lb of dough or 15 large rolls. This is a basic dough recipe for your creative adventures in baking rolls and breads.

Level: Intermediate Yield: 12 servings Total Time: 2 hours 30 mins
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Utensils: Bread Maker, rolling pin or a sturdy water glass, measuring cup, measuring set, 2 spoons, sharp knife, 13″ x 9″ pan and something to roll your dough out on. I use a large pizza pan with a small rolling pin.

Dough Recipe
If you are using a bread maker place ingredients in container as follows.
⦁ 1 cup Water
⦁ 4 tablespoons Butter cut into tiny pieces
⦁ 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Salt
⦁ 3 cups Unbleached Flour (regular if that is all you have)
⦁ 1 tablespoon sugar
⦁ 2 teaspooons active dry yeast
Set menu on bread amker to dough. Depending on your bread maker 90 minutes approximately

If you are using frozen dough it will take about 60 to 90 minutes to thaw. Follow directions on package. You can thaw the dough out in your refridgerator over night if baking in the morning. Bring the dough to room tempreture. Once your dough is ready you can follow the directions below.

Ingredients for Filling
⦁ 1 to 1.5 sticks Butter
⦁ Sugar
⦁ Cinnamon sprinkel to taste
⦁ Walnuts (finely chopped)

While you are waiting on your dough, remove 1.5 sticks of butter from refrigerator so it can soften up. After the butter is soft use up to 1/4 stick of butter and heavily spread butter on pan bottom and sides with a spoon.
Cut up 1 to 1 1/2 sticks of cold butter into small pieces and cover the bottom of your pan evenly with the butter.
Take 1/4 cup of sugar and lightly sift over the butter. Set that to the side.

As soon as your dough is ready / proofed take it out and knead it one more time. I butter my hands and knead without flour.
⦁ Split it into 4 even sections.
⦁ Roll out 1 section so it is about 1/8″ thick or less. No bigger or you will end up with a doughy roll.
⦁ Butter the dough slightly.
⦁ Sprinkel 3 tablespoons sugar over dough.
⦁ Sprinkel your cinnamom. I like mine a little heavy but I like cinnamon. You can experiment with each section you roll out so in the end you will know what is a good coverage of cinnamon for you.
⦁ Sprinkel your fine chopped Walnuts to taste or make without nuts.
⦁ Take the dough at the edge and start to roll the dough up into a log shape and cut into 3. Place into your pan.

Leave at least 1″ more or less in between each roll. Cover with dish cloth and let rise for 30 minutes or until double to triple the size.

Preheat oven to 350′ degrees prior to cooking
Make sure you have at least 4″ inches of room around the rolls, if not, lower the rack.

Cook for 30 minutes in the center of the oven.

Take out of oven let set for 5 minutes.
Take a plate or plastic container to size and place on top of pan and flip it over. Leave the pan on top for 5 minutes. Lift pan off and let cool for 15 to 20 minutes.

Is Sparky Still Perky?

As the BIG BOOM for “natural dog foods” roll out of the factories, what are the true nutrional values? Not all are as healthy as they claim. Food dyes that are dangerous for humans are coloring your pets food. The regulations are very bleak for pet foods. There is no requirement that pet food products have pre-market approval by the FDA. https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/animal-food-feeds/pet-food

As you can see from the recall list several have been recalled for various facts over the past year. Make sure you do a check once in awhile on your pets food. Or sign up for the FDA Recall Notice by email. https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/safety-health/recalls-withdrawals

If you don’t know yet that you should be reading the labels on your dog food as well as your food, this is your wake up call. Did you know that awesome colored dog food that is apealing to you could be very dangerous to your pet. The dyes I have listed can have an adverse reactions on your dogs health.

Its not only the pretty colored kibble. Canned dog foods and treats are also included.

We all know that humans need to avoid Red #3 and that it has been linked to cancer. As a result of efforts begun in the 1970s, in 1990 the U.S. FDA had instituted a partial ban on erythrosine, citing research that high doses have been found to cause cancer in rats. A 1990 study concluded that “chronic erythrosine ingestion may promote thyroid tumor formation in rats via chronic stimulation of the thyroid. In June 2008, the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) petitioned the FDA for a complete ban on erythrosine in the United States, but the FDA has not taken any further action.

That is just one of the dangerous dyes for all your pets.

Check out these other dangerous dyes. We need to pay close attention to the labels.

Red #40: Allura Red AC is a red azo dye that goes by several names, including FD&C Red 40. The study found “a possible link between the consumption of these artificial colours and a sodium benzoate preservative and increased hyperactivity”.

Yellow #5 & #6: Tartrazine appears to cause the most allergic and intolerance reactions of all the azo dyes. It also has been known to cause food intolerances. Tartrazine has been used in 3D Printing as a biocompatible photoblocker for generating transparent hydrogels with complex inner structures.

I hope this information provides you with the power of knowledge on these dangerous food dyes in pet foods. Eliminate the colored food from your pets diet and go with the plain colored food.

Just remember… It’s up to us for the care and health of our family pets.

Anxiety, Linked To Grocery Shopping And Meal Time

Time consumption of grocery shopping… I am actually having anixety because I have to dedicate a few more hours to my grocery shopping now. Taking my mobile phone in so I can check the ingredients on the labels.
Where have the days gone when you could going shopping for an hour or so. Putting our trust in the manufactors of our food products is really become a risky business.
Reading labels these days has become a spelling bee, because of the additives. Processed foods have so many additives. In my view food has become unhealthy and toxic.

So many questions I have to ask myself and to remember them all is taxing my brain.
It use to be so simple. What is the experation date?

Not only additives but dangerous listeria and E.coli. We need to ask what country is this being processed, made or grown in? Has this item or is it on a recall list? https://www.recalls.gov/

Checking everything is a BIG time consumming task.

Check your labels and look up all the ingredients you don’t know. If you are going to buy any boxed, processed, frozen or fresh meat . I try not to buy pre-packaged foods but sometimes you don’t have a choice. I know you say “no time”. I have found a few ways to curb cooking time.

I bought a bread maker and I now make my own bread. I eat good bread all the time. Unbleached Flour, Salt, Sugar, Butter, Water and only 2 teaspoons of yeast per 2 pounds of dough that I cook in my oven. You can let the bread maker make 1 LB loaves of bread quickly while you do something else. It just turns out a little heavier than I like sometimes. I use those loaves for yummy french toast. But my yeast is cut by 2\3 and so is the sugar compared to store bought bread. Best of all no preservatives.

Don’t get me wrong. I still buy dry pasta and rice. I have no time to make fresh pasta. I occaionally have bought the fresh made pasta at the store. But that comes with preservestives also. Soon I hope to try and make my own. It’s very simple and you can make the dough in a bread maker or food processor. Fresh pasta is a simple homemade treat with a pasta press machine. Endless pasta recipes. So come back for yummy pasta recipes in a few months. Till then check out these Italian Grandmas for recipes. https://youtu.be/wKOgzfgI48c

Let your machines do the work while you enjoy the benefits of a healthy product made by you.

Making meals from “real” food really can be super easy. I bought a Multi Cooker / Pressure cooker and I drop in frozen meat, veggies and seasonings. You’ll have pleanty of time to take a shower or get the kids into the tub. 30 to 45 minutes later you have a meal.

You can prepare most of your veggies ahead of time. You could make it for a whole week while you watch tv. Just put them in a container and refrigerate or freeze them. Or if you must buy frozen vegtables. READ the ingrediant label. Some have preservatives.

GOT RATS??? A Dog’s Lifesaver

This dog was lucky someone was there who knew what the signs where for rat poison.
I would have never guessed.

Hope this never happens to your dog, but if it does here’s what to do for emergency and can’t get to the vet…. Raw eggs… I had never heard of this remedy until now. I have fed my dogs charcoal for the light case from licking the rat. I have never witnessed severe rat poison poisoning in any animal. That poor baby going through those convulsions was heart wrenching.

Get them to the vet as soon as possible.

CANCER DOCTOR IS A FRAUD…

Dr. Farid Fata the $35 Million FRAUDULENT doctor practicing in Michigan was telling people they had cancer even when they didn’t. The worst part of the story is he was treating the patients that “DID NOT HAVE CANCER” with chemotherapy.

Dr. Farid Fata was a popular oncology doctor with his patients and the hospital. His sentence for his crimes is 45 years in prison.

He put his patients in harms way. They have lost hair and teeth. Some are or have had heart problems due to the medicine.

SIDE EFFECTS OF CHEMOTHERAPY:

  • Anemia
  • Appetite Loss
  • Bleeding and Bruising (Thrombocytopenia)
  • Bone and joint problems
  • Constipation
  • Delirium
  • Diarrhea
  • Diabetic
  • Early Menopause
  • Edema (Swelling)
  • Fatigue
  • Fertility Issues in Boys and Men
  • Fertility Issues in Girls and Women
  • Hair Loss (Alopecia)
  • Heart Issues
  • Infection and Neutropenia
  • Lung Issues
  • Lymphedema
  • Memory or Concentration Problems
  • Mouth and Throat Problems
  • Muscle Weakness
  • Nausea and Vomiting
  • Nerve Problems (Peripheral Neuropathy)
  • Pain
  • Secondary Cancers
  • Sexual Health Issues in Men
  • Sexual Health Issues in Women
  • Skin and Nail Changes
  • Sleep Problems
  • Urinary and Bladder Problems

Just think of the taxpayer dollars that came from Medicare and Medicaid programs. The insurance companies that were bilked out of millions by this man. This is one down and I hope we never hear of a Monster Like Mr. Farid Fata ever again.

Is a $9 million Bail bond high enough for the pain and great medical harm that these people have been subjected to.. I am thinking premeditated murder should be his charges and he should be behind bars. This man is a murderer and a flight risk.

The sound advise is that you always get a second opinion and compare notes.

If you suspect wrongdoing or Medicare fraud, report it. You can do that by clicking here.

Hawaii Lava Flow Animal Rescue

The Hawaiʻi Lava Flow Animal Rescue Network (HLFARN) was created to serve as an informational hub for those needing assistance with pets and animals on farms during the 2018 eruption of Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. But it has become so much more than that. HLFARN has blossomed from a group of strangers into an Ohana; a family of people whose love for animals has taken them into the path of an erupting volcano to rescue pets and farm animals that have been left behind.

We are a grassroots movement to help the residents displaced from Leilani Estates and lower Puna to evacuate their beloved companions and friends. As a group of volunteers, we have rescued over 200 animals thus far. We continue to help residents, their furry friends, and…
